no one but me cares about the answer to this question

Did anyone on my flist who speaks French happen to see this week's episode of Heroes, which I just now getting to? (Or anyone who speaks Haitian Creole, but I am guessing that those are rarer on my flist than someone who had a few years of French in high school (or more, but this is a very boring question).) ( cut for incredibly minor spoilers )

Did I go to class today for a guest lecture about Haitian Creole, French, and why everything that intro linguistics said about creoles is false? Why yes, yes I did. And then in my other lecture today we watched the 1960s movie Cleopatra with Elizabeth Taylor. The end of the semester is on us, I can tell.

love meme; my thread. Because it's the end of the semester, that's why.

Although the meme claims that love is all you need, I might argue that sleep is almost as important. Which is what I am going to go do now. But you should all add your names so that I can leave you creepy anonymous comments telling you how wonderful you are. at some point when I am not in danger of falling asleep on my keyboard, like tomorrow when I am rested.
