Jul. 20th, 2008 10:34 pmHow many library cards do you think is too many? I have 3 or 4 (my university, BPL, Minneapolis Public, Hennepin County Public (after I moved away, Minneapolis and Hennepin merged, which is why I'm unsure about the number)), and I'm contemplating a Minuteman card as well - they have a book that I want that BPL and my school don't have. (I realize this is the point where normal people place interlibrary loans.) The thing that's really stopping me is the non-obvious nature of how to do so.
I thought about going to see The Dark Knight today, but then there was one of those 'world is ending' storms, so I didn't. At least it brought cool weather with it - I was getting seriously sick of being sweaty and sticky and gross all the time.
Today I realized that at some point, I went from loving the Cab in an ironic, 'aww, they're such failboats' sort of way to a totally earnest unironical way. I am actually not that surprised by that. However, per recent videos on their FOE page, I'd like to take back everything I said about thinking that Johnson was the competent one of that bunch.
