1. I got new shoes in the mail today! I am way more excited about this than I should be. Also, finally got to order yarn for the hawks mittens.

2. Apparently Tazer spent the timeout during the Dallas game yelling at his teammates? I have two thoughts on that: a) good, because they deserved it, and b) i think i'm kind of into that. (so is kaner!)

2. I feel like every time Down Goes Brown posts, I end up linking to him, but I can't help it because he is hysterical. From a hockey fan's guide to troubleshooting technology: "Problem: My TV is stuck on an image of Sidney Crosby, and the Penguins aren't even playing in this game. Solution: You have accidentally switched over to an NBC broadcast." And from signs your players have quit on you: "While you realize that an occasional accidental puck shot into the bench is an occupational hazard that you just have to deal with, it still seems excessive to have it happen thirty or forty times during the pregame warm-up."

Is Kaner always into getting yelled at, or is it just Tazer in particular that makes him get really uncomfortably turned on at practice until he has to go skate himself into exhaustion just so it will be less awkward, except then Tazer won't yell at him anymore and what is the boy to do?
