Apr. 29th, 2011 12:13 amHas it really been almost a month since I posted? Goodness. I blame hockey. Apparently I was too busy having ALL OF THE FEELINGS to post. (Especially yesterday - I spent all 24 hours of April 27 EST basically distraught, in a way that I now look back at and wonder WTF was wrong with me. It was not good.) Anyway, here are some things.
( in which i talk about going to the gym )
Also, I am looking for some things! All sorts of things, so if you have pointers or thoughts on where I should be looking, pass them on:
1. Casual blouses to wear to work. I have a couple of nice blouses, but they're very polished and sleek, and just not right for my 'all jeans, all the time' workplace. (US size 6ish, gap/old navy-type budget, tall sizes useful but not required.)
2. Skirts to wear to work. Because I am pretty sure if I wear jeans all summer, I will be miserable. (US size 8-10ish, fullish cut, knee length, bold but not bright patterns preferred.)
3. Protein-heavy snacks. Preferably things I can leave in my desk for a week. I know nuts are the traditional answer, but I don't like them enough to snack on them, which sort of defeats the purpose.
4. Books to read on the train! SF/F, history, science, history of science, as long as they're not 900 page tomes only in hardcover. (I'm looking at you, Wise Man's Fear.)
