Feb. 22nd, 2011 07:22 pm1. I got a birthday card from my grandmother today. She told me about the winter they've been having (and i would expect nothing else) and then told me to call my mother (isn't that supposed to be the other way around?) ♥
2. Also successfully avoided any situations at work that would involve offers of free alcohol. \o/
3a. I was bored at work and so was reading AskMeFi, which had this thread about Canadian stereotypes, which I mention on the off-chance that there might be some people reading this who have trouble with things like "differences between parts of Canada" or "Canadian geography" and would like a cheat sheet. Not that I would know anything about that.
3b. Puck Daddy talked about some rumors that the Thrash might end up in Winnipeg. Apparently "but who the fuck wants to spend winter in Winnipeg?" is a serious blocker to this plan.
3c. I swear this older interview used to include "Worst Vacation Spot? Winnipeg" but I am glad to see "Never been on vacation" is still there.
