1. I'm going to try to go back to Boston tomorrow! I leave MSP at 10am and get in to BOS at 8pm, theoretically. Via Dallas. Kill me now. (Actually, if you don't hear from me again, it's because my brother has killed me. I'm perfectly capable of entertaining myself while I travel - but I don't see the point when I'm traveling with another person, while my brother prefers the "two people traveling alone, together" mode of travel. Hence, the death threats. If you wanted to txt me during my layover, I would not complain.)

2. Speaking of txting, I have a twitter account: @thatgoodnight. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, if anything, but there it is, if you're interested. Feel free to do whatever it is one does with one's acquaintances' twitter accounts. (So far I use it to follow the Blackhawks games when I'm not at a computer. When they win, this is easy, but when they lose, there's a lot of trying to read between the lines to figure out what went wrong - bad luck? bad calls? just plain terrible play? Also, a lot of hoping that "upper body injury" doesn't mean "concussion" when you didn't see the hit.)

3. Speaking of the Blackhawks - could we get a healthy team for more than ten minutes of game time? Please? Pretty please?

4. Speaking of my brother, we watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special this morning, and I have not-so-many feelings about it, but I think that line about "Finally, a lie too big!" was one of the best lines of DW.

5. Speaking of Christmas, I got the new McKinley book (Pegasus), and is there anyone out there who has read it and wants to talk to me about it? Because I have a lot of feelings about it and I'm not sure what they all are. (Also, I have re-read all the McKinley I have, and it's interesting to me how much my feelings on some of them have changed. I have always loved The Blue Sword and The Hero and The Crown, but I used to love Blue Sword a lot more than Hero and the Crown, and now it's the other way around.)
