May. 26th, 2010 07:26 pm1. The way Johnny styled himself for SATC2 is horrifying to me for reasons I cannot put my finger on.
2. Evan did not win DWTS. I cannot decide whether I am happy or sad about that.
3. I decided, more or less, to wash every piece of clothing that I own in preparation for moving next week - I'm not always good about washing things before they get put away for the season, and end of term meant my laundry situation was more out of control than usual, so it seemed like a good idea (and possibly my motto for moving prep has been "what would johnny weir do?", at least wrt to cleaning - if i end up with pointy, shiny shoes and fur everything, i will not be pleased, although I am appreciating my sparkling clean sink and newly swept floor) - and, okay, I have heard stories from friends who went to Catholic school that they have enough white knee socks to last a lifetime, and I appear to have the same problem, except all of mine have the school logo on them because they came from the fencing team. We are theoretically issued a new pair of socks every year from the team; I have....many more than that. I'm scared to count, but I think it might be more than 10 pairs. (Of course, having gathered my laundry from the far corners of my room and closet, I began to contemplate actually carrying it down four flights of stairs in record-breaking temperatures, and decided that middle of the night laundry looks like a better and better option.)
