Apr. 27th, 2010 10:08 pm1. Timeline update: I have been veerrrrry sloooowly mucking with it, as well as bookmarking like crazy stuff to add. eventually. if i ever have a chance to breathe again.
2. How amused am I that me, _skating, and weirsjohnny all apparently snapped within hours of each other, determined to figure this retconned rivalry shit out once and for all? (Since we all get canon at about the same time, this is less implausible that it sounds.)
3. A (probably incomplete) list of people who have referred to Stephane in interviews as "that Swiss guy": Plushenko. Evan. Yagudin. DOES NO ONE KNOW HIS NAME? ffs, he was world champion twice - you think he'd be memorable. (it's probably because he really is the only Swiss man at that level, but it's still hilarious.)
4. Do these outfits say "family-friendly entertainment" to you? Cuz that's not the first place my mind goes. (in case you're wondering: I would probably read it.)
5. I think I am experiencing Evan wifery/not-wifery whiplash.
6. tumblr is a total foreign land to me and i have no idea how anything works or who anyone is, but this one is relevant to my interests.
7. Meme: What kind of topics/entries would you like to see me posting about? Any particular questions you've always wanted to ask me but have resisted because the answer would be a huge essay? Ever want to wind me up and watch me go on a particular topic? Anything you've heard me say "I should write that entry about $foo I've been meaning to write" and have been patiently waiting for? (with the understanding that it may be a while til i get to them, unless i go on a writing binge this weekend and answer in between working on essays. or write them to procrastinate, like i'm doing now.)
