Took a history exam today. At the beginning of class, the professor announced that he expected we would finish early, and that there was no problem with leaving before the three hours were up. Out of a class of 15, I was the third person to leave. And I left with five minutes remaining. Fail, professor. (I didn't think it was hard - just lots of writing. I filled the better part of two of those little blue books, and I tend towards the concise side when writing. Not that you'd know that from LJ. I cannot write by hand anymore - none of my classes ask me to do it regularly and my handwriting is getting even worse than it already was. Between that and the syntax final yesterday where I realized I had no idea how to go about physically drawing a tree, only how to code one up in LaTeX, I realized why I type everything that gets handed in.)

Just took my psych exam, which I honestly think is the worst designed exam I have ever taken. 30 multiple choice questions (2pts each), 10 T/F questions (1pt each), 3 essays (10pts each). So, yes, the MC questions were worth twice as much as the essays. Does that seem wrong to anybody else?

Not to mention, of course, the typos, poorly worded questions, and weird formatting errors. And, my absolute favorite, the following question, which is pretty much a direct quote: "True or False: The terms sex differences and gender differences are used interchangeably by some researchers." Never in my life have I wanted to answer "True IFF THE RESEARCHERS ARE MORONS" so badly.

JFC, I am so glad to be done with this class.
