1. In my linguistics class today, we first explained to the prof what "that what she said!" means, and then made her give us a formalization of what it does semantically. It was beautiful. And then we talked about emoticons, and I want to take a sociolinguistics class so badly. (My school doesn't really offer that. We're not so much about society, really.)
2. Is it only Tuesday? Are you sure? Granted, 90% of my work for the week is due on Tuesday, so I spent 9 hours straight last night doing one pset, which probably contributes to this feeling.
3. WHY IS 90 DEGREES?
4. Next semester's class schedule is out! That means it's time for another round of class-picking! ( cut for length. opinions welcome, but this is mostly so I have things written down. )
