(no subject)

Have been watching old seasons of Top Chef while studying. Possibly have a crush on Rocco DiSpirito. On the other hand, during an emergency milk run (what, you're saying I should be able to study without milk at hand?), passed a group of carolers who had reworked traditional carols to extol the virtues of beef, so I feel better about how I'm doing on the finals-induced insanity thing.

i had all these words and nowhere to put them

( thoughts about rape, violence, twitter, nitpicking, anarchy, Andy, the Gift of Fear, and feminism, with some wildly wandering second person pronouns thrown in for good measure. )

This post started off as an eyeroll, and then as a sentence to explain the eyeroll, and then suddenly I had walls of angry text. And the thing is, I don't even really care what Andy says on twitter (I think he is on this issue well-intentioned but clueless), not in the grand scheme of things, but sometimes the words happen and you just have to go with it.

I had an exam today that perhaps should be described as 'bloodbath' or 'beatdown' or other fun words beginning with 'b'. If you start rape wank in my comments, I will be incredibly displeased.
