I finished the book I was working on yesterday afternoon and lay down with the intention of taking a couple of hours nap. I was woken up by my alarm (set for 'time to get up so you can go to work") 16 hours later. Whoops? But man, did I need that sleep.

Work featured pizza, though, so that was good. (Officially, it was to thank the students who have worked there over the summer, but I get the feeling it was more like "Pizza! \o/") Also improbable mail: a pair of theses from Norway, which came with no paperwork and no return address.

Someone in ILL in on vacation, so I've been helping out over there lately. I like it because it's something new and different and I get to wander around the libraries looking for the books that need to be pulled. I have not yet killed anyone with the compact shelving, which is a plus. Also, I haven't scanned a thesis for like a week, which is a minor victory but worth celebration.

Right. And I am now off to figure out what happened on my flist while I was doing my coma impression.

We have froshlings! Teeny tiny innocent little frosh! I know I shouldn't get attached because there's no knowing if they'll be our frosh, but I am still very excited.
