1. Twilight is rapidly gaining notoriety.
2. The natural response to 'Don't click this link!' is to click it.
3. I have a much higher tolenrce for melodrama (badfic on the large scale) than I do for bad prose (badfic on the small scale).
4. My Spanish skills are slipping away because of lack of use.
I'm sure you'll agree that the natural conclusion from these points was 'I should request Twilight from my local library, in Spanish!' (Bonus: the queue is much shorter that way.)
Intro posts seem to be all the rage these days, but I'm really bad at writing them. (There's one floating around from the last month of so, if you really want to know.) I can never figure out what people might want to know about me. So, if there are things usually appearing in an intro post that you want to know, ask away.
No improbably outgoing mail at work this week, although we did get a bill from the National Library of Sweden. I'm sure we deserved it. Words of wisdom from my boss: "Try to be wearing shoes when your boss comes to talk to you. And it's also a good idea to return his phone calls." (His boss, not mine. I don't have a phone and I do wear shoes.)
Has anyone found a good Greasemonkey script to kill the new footer yet? I've modified the one that kills the navbar so at least I don't have to look at it, but it's imperfect for a number of reasons, including the fact that it merely makes it invisible and doesn't change its demand for space.
