(no subject)

I am almost caught up with my current backlog on fic. I've been good about keeping up with newish stuff, but there's a bunch of stuff from maybe a week or a week and a half to go that I'm still working on. If you get random late comments on stuff, that's why.

Unfortunately, just as I get caught up, I fall behind again - I'm leaving town this evening, and I'll be gone until Sunday. I'll have some Internet access while I'm gone, but not much. So I'll fall behind again, and then catch up, and then I'll be away the next weekend, and fall behind, and so forth and so on. An ugly cycle. That's basically all of February for me, to be fair - it's the busy season for my big extracurricular activity, so I may not be around much at all. After that, it gets better, though.

I have been saving pictures of various band folks. I didn't used to do that! I used to be able scroll on past! Now I'm all, 'ooh! rightclick, save!' I tend to look at pictures and go, 'that needs to be an icon!' forgetting that a) I don't know anything about making icons, and b) when I do make icons, I make like, three, and then wander off to do something else, leaving them in poorly organized folders for weeks before making more. Also, all my crops are the same. And I don't actually use icons. None of this makes any sense to me either.

Lastly, if anyone's interested, the free single of the week on iTunes is We The Kings's song 'Check Yes Juliet,' if you need a catchy song by some dudes with really bad hair and don't already have it.
