Thoughts Had While Hanging out With My Brother

(and listening to music/goofing around on guitars/watching Muse music videos):

1. You know, I really do like the music of Muse.
2. Wow, they're really quite pretty.
3. ....dammit, I really don't need another fandom. (Is Muse another fandom? I feel like it is, in light of all the bandom vs RockFic convos on LJ over the last few months.)

Muse is totally a fandom! I was watching a Muse slash community for awhile, but I had so little familiarity with the canon I couldn't really get sucked into it. But damn they make pretty music and are pretty.

I suspect that if people on my flist suddenly started posting about Muse, I would fall into that fandom so hard. Luckily, I don't really end up in fandoms without following others in, these days, so I shall remain just an observer of the pretty for now.
