1. A number of folks are going to a four day pre-camp camp in Vail with Crosby's trainer (Crosby not included). These folks include Jeff Skinner. Didn't you just get done with BioSteel, Skinner?
2. Tavares lives in his parents' basement during the offseason.
3. "People are making way too much of his weight," Gagners said of Nugent-Hopkins, the first overall pick selected by the Oilers in the June NHL entry draft. "I skated with Pat Kane before he went to Chicago for the first year. He was 165 pounds."
