(no subject)

1. oh fuck it's going to snow again? Like, snowing is one thing. I'm fine with that! Totally fine! But in the last four weeks, we've already had 2 (maybe 3!) "shut down the city" snowstorms, and now we're getting another one? This is my fifth winter in Boston and, granted, previously I walked less than a block to get to campus so maybe my perception is skewed, but doesn't that seem like more this year?

2. It occurred to me today my birthday is in a month, more or less, and it is just after a major deadline at work, and also immediately after a three day weekend, so maybe I should take some time off, have a 4 or 5 day weekend, and do something with myself. I'm not sure what I should do, though. Thoughts?

3. Is anyone else watching Southland this season? I feel like I used to see a fair bit of discussion about about it, but I haven't seen much for the recent episodes.
