(no subject)

1. I'm trying to decide whether I should go in to the office tomorrow. On one hand, snowpocolypse (and I planned ahead and brought my computer home! in the most inappropriate-for-laptop-carrying bag ever! because i didn't plan ahead enough to bring a bag other than the tiny messenger bag.) On the other hand, I'm having trouble getting the vpn set up, and outlook is being unpleasant, so it'll be a lot easier to work at the office. On the mutant third hand, it's not like I have any work to do anyway (despite the frantic conversations of OMG DEADLINES OMG BUGS OMG DO WE NEED TO HIRE MORE PEOPLE??? that have been happening around me).

2. Sharpie claims he is an honorary slovkian because he knows how to swear and how to ask for the puck. from what i saw in 24/7, that's all the vocab hockey players really need.

3. I thought this post on PD about hockey doctors was really interesting. (Also it makes me miss being able to walk hobble into an office, say "I think my ankle's fucked" and hear "yup, it's fucked. let's tape it up so you can put weight on it again.")

4. no, seriously, why am i reading about the blackhawks as werewolves? (although in 'things i find offputting about this fic, i'd have to put otp fuckery > 'jonny' > werewolves, tbh.)
