1. Started new job today. Miracle of miracles, someone was there to collect me from reception at 9am. Whereupon he said, "here's your desk, drop your stuff, the group has a meeting and you should come along so you can see what we're working on, even if it's all over your head." The meeting, btw, turned out to be a conference call with two dudes in eastern Europe. it's always something.

2. hockey people, have you seen this? Like, I knew hockey players had a macho problem, but this takes it to a whole new level. (also, where is the fic? the h/c practically writes itself!)

3. I am so happy the Hawks won without things having to go to a shootout, because I have apparently become the kind of person who gets too nervous to watch listen to them. WTF is wrong with me?

4. Holiday knitting: may actually be finished in time for holidays, knock on wood! \o/
