help me flist, you're my only hope.
Oct. 13th, 2010 08:14 pmOkay, so I'm pretty sure my next fandom is going to be hockey*. Not that you can call six people talking about how their should be more fic a fandom, but whateves. There's just one minor problem: I cannot watch any videos on nhl.com. This means: NO BHTV. That's like, half the canon.
Things I have tried: Turning off AdBlock. Upgrading Flash. Upgrading Firefoz. IE. Chrome. Animal sacrifice is up next unless anyone has better suggestions.
Data points: Firefox, Vista, RCN. no trouble with video elsewhere on the net that I can think of. The page loads and gives me a loading bar where the video should be, but when the bar reaches completion, I get a black space instead of video.
*Everybody IRL I have told this to (phrased in the fannishly neutral way - "I'm kind of getting into following hockey this year.") has responded with mockery about my Minnesotan roots. Perhaps it's true that this was inevitable. I just find all the Canadian raising comforting, okay?
