Also, and this is almost related because I knit while I watch TV, in case anyone was asking themselves, "Hmm, if I make a crochet provisional cast-on and then knit a twisted rib into it, will the provisional cast-on still neatly and easily unravel when it comes time to pick up those stitches?" the answer is no, no it will not, and then you will have to pick out 150 stitches worth of provisional cast-on the hard and painful way so you can knit your border. Just, you know, hypothetically. If you wondering.
