i think i come out even
Dec. 9th, 2009 12:22 pm-pulled a pointless allnighter*
+went to class, got fed lamb kebobs and rice
-spent way too many hours freaking out about the presentation in class
+gave the presentation (which is the talking version of my paper) and got really good feedback on how to improve it
+/- have watched way too much Gossip Girl over the last week.
*I couldn't remember hearing a deadline for the paper, but I knew it couldn't be sooner than the last day of class for syllabus reasons, and so I got it done for today the last day of class because that seemed reasonable, via pain and suffering and all nighter, to go to class and be told, "well, grades are due on the 29th, so get it to us by noon on the 28th." this is what happens when they keep treating you like grad students.
also, thank you so much to anonymous and anonymous for the snowflakes! they really made my day when i got and saw them yesterday. (or...whatever day that was. my chronology is a little shot right now.)
