May. 1st, 2009 06:01 pm1. I imported my LJ to DW, but none of the comments went through, despite getting messages about how my comments had imported successfully. Grrr. And then I tried again, and the same thing happened. Double grrr.
2. In the near future, I will:
a. Not be crossposting, but I will be re-importing my LJ into DW periodically (unless there's a good reason I should be crossposting?)
b. Doing the subscribe/access thing over on DW and transforming the openIDs that got imported off my LJ flist into DW users. (ETA: note to self: when you do this, you have to muck with the access filters too.)(ETA2: when I pull up my filters, LJ tells me all the people on filter X. Is there a way to see what filters person Y is on instead?)
c. Rearranging my default view on both DW and LJ so that reading both doesn't give me all the crossposted entries twice - I'll put you on the default filter for whichever seems to be your primary location. ETA: Except DW doesn't have reading filters set up yet. Scratch that plan. New plan: if DW is your primary location, I will subscribe to you there and take you off my default filter on LJ. If LJ is your primary location, I will put your name on a list but not subscribe to you until that bug gets worked out (because I'll still be reading you on LJ).
3. Here, have some invite codes, no need to ask permission to use them (run free, lurkers!):
