Today I:

1. Woke up an hour after I was supposed to be at work. (the best part of this: I get to work, my boss inquires as to how am I doing, I respond "Oh, you know, fine except for the oversleeping thing" and he tells me that if I hadn't mentioned it, he would have never noticed. Oh, workplace.)
2. Had a brief terrifying moment where I thought I had pulled an entire row of bound journals (aka big and heavy volumes) down onto my head in reaching for something on the shelf below them. Fortunately, it was only three, and only one of them actually hit me, but man, that was an adrenaline spike I didn't need. (and then it was a BAD CITATION - sometimes I hate patrons.)
3. Walked through several huge puddles on the way home. On one hand, wool socks (warm when wet!). On the other hand, sandals. On the third hand, I was almost home.
4. Had fencing lesson today. The kid who has a lesson just before me ran late (as always), although this time my lesson did not get cut short to compensate. (Sometimes I kind of want to scream at my coach about how I am just as worthy of lesson time as that kid, but that would be rude. Also, not true.) On the bright side, my lesson had lots of cool PIL things.

All in all, I feel like my day should be summarized as "overall, not as bad as it sounds! I swear!"

A bunch of people on the floor decided that tonight was a good night for beer pong in the lounge. No, I don't know either - I mean, Wednesday, WTF? I blame battlecode. And now the girl who lives next to me is playing Franz Ferdinand really loudly and I can't ask her to turn in down so I can go to bed because she's not in - the door is open and she is nowhere to be seen. (I am in the middle of a row of three rooms, bordered by stairs and kitchen, and since the quality of my headphones vastly outstrips that of my speakers and I tend not to have other people in my room since I am a freak about having my own space, I suspect neither of the people to either side of me know exactly how well sound carries through the walls. Plan: 1. Grow backbone. 2. Inform. 3. ????? 4. Profit.)

1. Fall Out Boy tickets: on one hand, Fall Out Boy and Cobra Starship. On the other hand, Lowell, which is not so easy to get to, and a weeknight, and I don't have syllabi yet to know how bad that week will be (nor do I have a class schedule, but whatever, I don't need to work that out til Monday). I suspect I will have to wait til next week to make the ticket decision. (Also, Team New England? are there plans? plans for plans?)

2. I've done a little bit of investigating on this matter on my own, but then I thought about what I know of my flist and thought I should ask here too. In a few weekends, I would like to spend a Saturday Sunday at MoHo. How much of a pain in the ass would it be to get there? (Bonus points for a cheap solution, style points for a solution that involves the phrase "fuck truck". (yes, I know I'm conflating two different schools.)) So far, it looks like Peter Pan bus to Northampton, then PVTA Five Colleges line to MoHo is the best option: Y/N/find something more interesting to do on your birthday?

3. Spring Break. I should (a) go home, (b) wander the East Coast, (c) do something else entirely.
