Nov. 25th, 2008 10:08 pmThe second draft of my paper for analysis is due tomorrow at 11. The final/third draft is supposed to be 10 pages. I currently have....5. I have not looked at it at all since I handed the first draft in. It's going to be a long night. Expect all sorts of inanity from me. (I do crazy things at the end of semesters during crunch time. Is it a coincidence that this LJ is approaching its one year anniversary? No, no it is not. (It got created during the hellish end of 1st semester sophomore year, aka, the semester I thought I could take six classes and decided orgo would be a fun thing to add to my schedule on a whim.)) Note to self: the convenience store on campus closes at 3am. If you want ice cream, you have to go before that.
But this is the last thing I have to do and then I will be on break - I suspect I won't go to class tomorrow, just hand in the paper via email and then waltz off to the airport to join my poor brother who is getting kicked out of his dorm at 11:30am and we will hang out and wait for our plane and eat food and tell each other stories that need to be told away from parents (...and work. we are both crazy hosed.) and then we will go home and there will be turkey and other people doing the cooking and it will be good.
And then it's back here, where I have a week and a half of classes, 2 psets, 2 presentations, 2 final papers that I haven't started (plus the final draft of the one mentioned above), 2 fencing meets including one on a weekday, and 3 finals and then this term is over. I'd say not to expect to see me around much, but I get spammy and posty when I'm overworked, so that would be a lie.
