Jul. 11th, 2008 09:30 pmThe office where I work has, depending on how you count, either 8 or 12 actual employees and either 2 or 4 student workers. Two of them will be gone next week. As one of my coworkers put it, 'If you are sick, of course you should stay home. But try not to get sick next week.'
The music playing in my head over the last few days has been, on and off, a strange mashup of Doug's cover of Dance Dance and Max Vrnon's cover of I Kissed A Girl. Either this needs to actually exist or my brain needs to stop trying to make it happen.
As long as I'm on the topic of O_o, I was telling one of my high school friends about the Hush Sound and suggesting that she go see them when they're near her, but she can't. She'll be out of town that weekend doing a suspension. I repeat: O_o.
I am incapable of reading pornfic that has math in it - I can follow the narratives line (which is to say, the porn) or the math but not both at once, so I have to reread in sections and piece together the separate parts. Also, I judge when the indices (shut up, Firefox, indices is a perfectly good word) are not subscript, even if there's no reasonable way to create subscript in LJ's formatting. This is why we have LaTeX, people! So we can accurately render mathematics in our plaintext porn!*
*This is not actually why we have LaTeX.
