Five Things
Mar. 18th, 2008 12:41 am1. Unfortunately, my appropriately dressed by accident did not continue today. Sadness.
2. Dear body, why do I have to deal with cramps, sleepiness, and low-level unpleasantness on the same day there's a really cool talk I wanted to hear at the school down the road? Bad form, body, bad form. (I didn't go. I took a nap instead. I just wasn't feeling up dealing with the T and trying to find my way around an unfamiliar university.) At least two people on my flist did go, though, which amuses me quite a bit, and from reports, it sounds like it was pretty interesting. Body, why you gotta be that way.
3. More than once now, I've had a song line stuck in my head, been pretty sure it's a Cobra lyrics, googled it to find out that a) it is in fact a Cobra lyrics but b) it's to a song I don't know. (Of the first album, I only really know the singles.) So where'd I hear the song in the first place? Concert? Pandora? Okay, research suggests the version in my head is much closer to the live version than the album version. So I have an earworm from a version of a song I heard twice, 8 weeks. (Pop-Punk and Keep It Simple in the last week or so.) Brain, are you trying to tell me something? This is not okay.
4. I've been browsing through some of the documentation for MediaWiki, as well as the templates and such used on Wikipedia. There's a lot of cool stuff that MediaWiki can do, and I think I'm starting to figure out how best to use it. No good solution for tags yet, though.
