I don't care how neat CSS is, you do not have time to learn it during the semester. Plus, CSS is not something that you will ever need to know, given that it is used by web designers, and you don't have a website, don't have design skills, and are not planning to go into any sort of design field. Stop that. Go back to algebra.
Signed,
Rationale
(I've gotten myself to about the level of Geocites, ca. 1996, which is to say, the easy part. Also, as in illustration of how my brain works (ie, by analogy), as soon as I started putting the pieces together of how CSS worked, my first thought was "Oh, like \newcommand in LaTeX." I don't actually think LaTeX and CSS are that similar, but in my head they work the same.)
