Feb. 26th, 2008 02:37 pmSo, uh. If I have class until 4pm on Fridays, in Cambridge, would it be possible to get to the MCR show that night in NYC? (If no, what if I only have class til 2?) My experience this weekend suggests it's about 4 or 5 hours to NYC by (charter) bus, so presumably public bus would be about the same. I think this means leaving at 2 is workable, and at 4 is not. But I have no experience on the Boston-NYC trip, so I could be wrong.
Alternatively, MCR could plan some shows in the Boston area, so I could stop making ridiculous plans to cross state lines to see them. (Really, it's only quasi-ridiculous. A round trip bus ticket to NYC is 30 bucks, and I could either take the 2am bus back or crash with what will presumably be a bevy of fangirls, and return the next morning. Perfectly sane, really. I know all sorts of people who go to NYC for the weekend.)
