"i don't want to write outlander fic, but there's only so many times one can yell in email about how they need to make out. hmm." "i think maybe what i want is longform, free association, spoiler friendly episode-by-episode discussions?"
So this is an experiment in building it and seeing if they will come [back]! Let's say, hmm, anything aired, anything in preview on starz.com, any episode titles, and anything in books 1-3 is fair game.
some initial thoughts, likely to be added to in-between fighting a Raven Boys shipwar elsewhere:
1. How misleading do we think the preview for 1x04 is? (My guess is: very.)
2. If this season has 16 episodes, aired in a split season, what's the cliffhanger for the end of episode 8? (I had guessed when Claire has the option of returning, but I can't seem to make it work out with the amount of plot that would need to happen.)
3. WILL THE AMOUNT OF UST MAKE ME EXPLODE
4. do you have any tips for telling the scottish dudes apart. help.
5. I feel like Geilis is more prominent in the show so far than the books at this point, and also that they've been more heavy-handed with her dropping anvils on Claire (which I think is a reasonable approach). I'm curious if they'll handle the reveal differently, since I for one could not ID a smallpox vaccination scar without clear labeling. (oh god, maybe it'll be id'd in voiceover. gosh i'm sick of that voiceover.)
