it may be awhile til i, cough, get around to watching either 24/7 or NHL 36, so while I wait, a meme:

Tell me about a story I haven't written, and I'll give you between one and three sentences from that story.

look, it's either that or i tell you about trying to drag my engineering co-workers into small talk at the work holiday party. (spoiler: unsuccessful)

I'm like throwing myself around in furious disgust that I have to wait until tomorrow when it's on the Internet to watch 24/7. I HATE EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me about Kruger and Stalberg going on an accidental couple's vacation with Hammer and Hammer's gf.

right? and if the hawks had managed to win in regulation, i probably could have watched in real time, but nooooooo, they had to give up a goal to koivu.

"Did you know she was meeting us here?" Stalberg asks Kruger as they awkwardly watch Hammer kiss his girlfriend hello in the lobby of the hotel they're checking into.

Kruger shrugs. "I guess we're sharing. I get the bed by the window."

NOW I JUST WANT TO READ THIS STORY FOR REAL AND YOU SHOULD TELL ME MORE ABOUT IT.

it turns out that hammer's gf (eliza?) is the kind of woman who comes with a Plan when she goes on vacation, and the rest of them just kind of go along with it. which means they end up doing a lot of sort of romantic couple-ly things, and it's not til like a week in that stals realizes that everyone has been assuming that he and kruger are a couple. he asks kruger if that bothers him, and kruger just shrugs.

uhhhh i don't really know what happens. it was supposed to just be 3 sentences!

i think kruger just keeps rolling with it. eliza wants to go to a spa? that's fine, he could use the relaxation. hang out on the beach? he's got a book to read. go out dancing? he's into that. and stalberg gets more and more wound up about how kruger never seems rattled by anything, not even when people refer to him as stalberg's bf.

NO IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE AN ENTIRE WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL STORY ABOUT STALBERG AND KRUGER DUH

And then what happens? Does Stalberg keep freaking out about it? Does he tell anyone?

when eliza plans dinner at a romantic dinner, stalberg puts his foot down. he tells hammer to go have fun, but he and kruger are going to go enjoy being single.

he's hoping this will get a reaction from kruger, or a blush, or something, but kruger just starts digging through his suitcase to change.

Duncs/Seabs paranormal romance :D

Duncan has been tracking the vampire for five weeks now, although he's never been this close, close enough to really get how much bigger than him the vampire is. He's seen the trail it's left behind, so when he's suddenly grabbed and pinned to the wall, he knows how it's going to end for him.

He's not expecting the vampire to tug on his hair and lick his neck before dropping him to the floor and leaving.

OH MY GODDDDD.

okay, in my head, duncs is basically a PI for the supernatural world? and he knows there's a vampire making a mess of the town, so it's his job to track it down and kill it. but seabs isn't actually the vampire doing it, he's being framed! and he keeps trying to convince duncs that he's innocent, and duncs is all suspicious and not-trusting (useful skills in his profession). not that that stops him when the vampire keeps flirting with him.

I WOULD READ THIS FOR DAYS.

only i don't know how it actually goes, but i think there's a sexy bit with blood at some point.

Duncs feels so guilty for liking it.

SHARPY AND KANER MAKE OUT TO MAKE TAZER JEALOUS

"Come on, Sharpy," Kaner says, "Tazer will be back in a minute, just help me out, okay?"

"There's no way he's going to believe this," Sharpy says, rolling his eyes, but he kisses Kaner anyway.

Tazer believes it, if the color his face turns is any sign.

tazer loses his mind for a week or so, and eventually sharpy has to be like, "jesus, i'm not actually into him, you can have him."

haha and then kaner never ever lets tazer forget that he got them together.

sometimes, when tazer starts getting a little too complacent, kaner says things like "i could always go back to sharpy, you know." this invariably ends with tazer seeing red and throwing him down, and kaner leaves with bite marks and a smug satisfied feeling.

HIIII! I am jame! I just friended you!

And OMG waiting SO IMPATIENTLY for the internets to supply NHL 36 or 24/7. DAMMIT. GIVE ME MY FIX NOW.

... Tell me about how Kaner and Tazer were towards each other after Kaner won the Calder.

"Admit it, you only won because I kept passing to you," Tazer says, gesturing to the trophy on the table in their hotel room.

"Never," Kaner says, a little drunkenly.

So Tazer tackles him to the bed. Kaner doesn't really mind, even though he puts up a god fight.
