Huh. I was going to write a recap of the weekend, for myself if nothing else because my long term memory is highly subject to blurring, falsifying, and otherwise remixing history, but while I have no problem telling stories of Stupid Things The Band* Did, apparently I get an ooky feeling about telling stories of Stupid Things Other People Did**. I shall consider this further, but any post I make might end up being Stupid Things I Did this weekend.

*Referring to things like concert recaps, not necessarily what happens when the band shows up to the party because they're friends with the people throwing it, which puts things in a weird in between place.

**Is this related to the fact that I may be one of a few people with a clear memory of those things? I don't think so, but it might affect it a little.

But one important thing I learned! Okay, so I hadn't heard Timbaland's One and Only until the car trip this weekend because....I don't know why. I just hadn't. For anyone else out there who is suffering from the same problem, and needs proper motivation, this song has P.Stump singing the line "Wipe that smile off your fucking face." Many times, in fact. If you're like me, that should sell you on it.

(also, Empires in NY was cancelled. clearly a sign that I should probably sleep through all of next weekend. I just slept for the past three hours, and it was awesome. \o/)

I didn't know my life was incomplete until the moment I listened to that song and heard Patrick saying that line. Aghhhhhhhhhnnnghhhhhhh PATRICK STUMP.

Oh, don't worry. I remember almost all the stupid things I said and did. There are only a few blank spots.

But I do remember how awesome you are.

Aww, I'm sure half of us are gleefully telling everyone the stupid things we did already, for what it's worth.

I really really love that song. I don't think I've ever not ended up hitting repeat when it comes up on shuffle.

You should totally share all Stupid Things the Band Did stories because honestly, we will never remember them all. Just, you know, beware their google alerts. And I'm pretty sure everyone there was well aware that all stupid actions would be reenacted for the internet at large.

Well I don't have to worry, because I didn't do anything dumb Saturday night. I remember lots of intelligent discourse!

I for one, would love to know what you remember and I do not. Just maybe you know. flocked/filtered.
