Any other trashy* television I should be watching this summer?
*Except Leverage, which I think is genuinely good, and even if I didn't, this blog post by one of the producers/writers/showrunners would be enough to make me think good things about it. And yes, I know it's a sign that the world is fucked up when a white dude getting it is enough to make me happy, but ... dude gets it. (Although I suppose there's a distinction between my happy levels in the 'random white dude gets it' case and the 'white dude who happens to write for a show I enjoy' case, because the second implies that the show is less likely to fuck up wrt to race and gender, which is clearly happy-making.)
(I suppose Entourage and True Blood are good in a very brain-candy sort of way. Torchwood...let's not talk about the quality of Torchwood.)
