Okay, so I'm not really watching the Oscars cuz I'm doing homework (most glamorous and exciting 21st bday, I know), but it's on in the lounge and I just saw about half of the opening number, and. flist, I think that was the greatest Oscar opening ever.

ETA: WHOEVER LOOKED AT THE CEREMONY PLANS AND SAID, "NEEDS MORE GIGANTIC AWESOME MUSICAL NUMBERS", I THINK I LOVE YOU.
ETA2: WAIT WAIT WAIT. The crazy Frenchman got an Oscar and then did magic with it? And I missed it? IS THIS WHAT I GET FOR TRYING TO BE STUDIOUS? (I do recommend Man On Wire - it's not that long and you get to see how crazy he really is.)
